For instance #mint. The other day I went to a flower and herb market in the area to explore. What I discovered was they offered every plant you would want to start your home garden one begin a VARIETY of mint. They had peppermint, spearmint, watermint, apple mint, pineapple mimt, chocolate mint to name a few and the pepper offerings seemed endless.

At check out i noticed a huge garbage can filled with discarded plants and then i noticed a huge pile on the ground. It was mint. I asked her if they compost (not mint tho) and she said no so I then I asked what they do with the plant trimmings. She said they trim them so they fit in the trays but that she was told to throw away the plant trimmings. Of course I was horrified 😱& asked if she uses it she said she takes some to her mom because she cooks with it.

So of course I began to tell her of the different ways she can use mint

As a tea

In a facial steam

To make a simple syrup

Make an incense or smudge bundle

Her face lit up.

I asked if I could take some & she said yes and heres how I used mine.

𝑯𝒐𝒕 Tea infusion- great for headaches, gas, focus/ clarity & uplifting yet relaxing

𝑪𝒐𝒍𝒅 water infusion w/ cucumber super refreshing for hot days

𝑺𝒎𝒖𝒅𝒈𝒆 bundle- for altar work, meditation, prayer, brain fog & incense

𝑺𝒉𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒓 𝑮𝒂𝒓𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒅 - tied to the shower head excellent for bathroom aroma and a great wake up scent much like the smell of coffee in the morning.

As an Aries I love experimenting with new or alternative ways to use something, especially plants.
